Financial Aid Heads Up!

If you have received an email, letter or phone call from CU’s Financial Aid office, it is IMPORTANT that you respond quickly.

To avoid delays, you must act NOW!

Please make sure that you have followed these steps:

1 – Complete your 2017-2018 FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov

Cheyney’s school code is 003317

2 – If you have been selected for verification, go to www.sscwp.org

to complete the verification process.

*YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A FINANCIAL AID PACKAGE

UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED VERIFICATION*

3 – If you received an email or letter stating that you did not meet

Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards, you must

complete the SAP Appeal Process.

It is important that you complete these steps in a timely manner so that we can continue to serve you and work towards EVERY student having a POSITIVE experience with the Financial Aid Office.
