We are pleased to announce the dedication of the Cheyney University Interdenominational Chapel that will be located on the 2nd floor of the Marcus Foster Student Center.  The Cheyney University Interdenominational Chapel will be a sacred space available for prayer and worship by members of the University community to create a “Spiritual Connection,” where hospitality is given and received as we, “make room” for persons of every faith tradition so that all may thrive. As a symbol of respect and hospitality for all the various spiritual traditions represented on our campus, there will be no permanent symbol within the Meditation Room that is specific to only one faith tradition.

 

Ecumenical Worship Services will resume August 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Vaux-Logan Auditorium on each 2nd and 4th Sundays at 10:00 a.m. The Cheyney University Interdenominational Ministry team desires to share and lead the University community in prayer and worship; providing a spiritual presence on campus; facilitating community service and outreach activities; offering spiritual guidance and retreat opportunities.
