STUDENT ACTIVITIES
The Office of Student Activities is located in room 108 of the Marcus Foster Student Center and serves as the catalyst to change students into active members of the Cheyney University campus and community. Specifically, Student Activities provides social, cultural and developmental programs and activities, organizational advisement, and a variety of services. These opportunities allow students to combine formal, in-class experiences and informal, extra-curricular activities to create a balanced environment.
The Mission of the Student Activities Department is to collaborate with faculty, staff, students or alumni to coordinate a diverse schedule of activities that complement the University Mission . Staff will provide opportunities that foster student fellowship and participation in activities that enhance student academic and leadership skills and that prepare students for making positive contributions to the community as responsible citizens.
